Unlike other auction horses, he will remain in Ukraine until the auction and cannot be tried out in advance. The handover point is the Hanoverian Association in Verden; transport takes around four weeks. In addition to the purchase price, there is a flat-rate transport fee of EUR 600.00 and a flat-rate export fee of EUR 100.00. Ukrainian VAT (20%) will be refunded to the buyer by the Hanoverian Association upon the horse’s safe arrival in Verden. Upon import into Germany, a 19% import VAT is also payable at the customs office. The Hanoverian Association organises this customs clearance on behalf of the buyer and offsets the customs costs against the Ukrainian VAT refund (business buyers can claim a refund of the import VAT).

Buy Now option
The standard features of the Hannoveraner Verband online auctions have been expanded for the Verden Summer Sales 2026 to include a Buy Now option. The relevant price category of each horse is shown in the horse's basic details. If you are interested, the customer advisors will inform you of the exact Buy Now price at which you may purchase the horse under the auction terms and conditions before the auction ends. For the processing of a Buy Now purchase, you will be granted the right to purchase the horse for a period of 24 hours. This option may be offered no later than 15 June 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
