Although he is by far the youngest candidate in this high-level auction collection, the approach of his owner and horse expert Heinz Ahlers is understandable, as Be my Gold already reached the Bundeschampionat final as a three-year-old. The option to coach this rough diamond up until the end of the auction appealed to his owner so much that he is now exhibiting at the Verden Auction for the first time. Appropriately trained for his age, Be my Gold shows his talent on straight lines and initial curved lines. At first glance, his canter and walk are the absolute highlights of the stallion, but his willingness to learn and rideability already allow him to demonstrate the trot, depending on the rider’s influence, both in a relaxed basic trot and with a powerful, cadenced movement. In handling, Be my Gold appears relaxed, manageable, and at the same time alert, both at home and during his competitions, including overnight events.
