These qualities are complemented by his easy-going temperament, meaning he requires no special handling as a stallion. After a limited competition career in his younger years, Santiamo and his rider Anja Plönzke made a strong impact in 2025, achieving wins and placings up to S** level. The nine-year-old is correctly and finely trained, responding precisely to subtle aids. With his positive attitude, he can switch effortlessly and calmly between light training work and expressive movements in daily riding. Santiamo’s movement remains consistently carried, through from the hindquarters, and with the desired cadence. According to his current training level, the step up to Grand Prix is already imminent. Santiamo is part of the Verden High Level Auction, as the owner family of Gestüt Tannenhof wishes to slightly reduce the number of advanced, trained riding horses while continuing the training of their horses under optimal conditions up to the day of the auction.
