Bugatti is extremely appealing in his appearance: his beautifully shaped head and well-muscled neck, combined with his compact yet elegant body, make him an eye-catcher both in the stable and under saddle. In daily training he is attentive and can be ridden with little effort, smoothly switching between relaxed, supple movement sequences and expressive presentation. His regular rider, Jan-Dirk Gießelmann, taught the now 14-year-old Bugatti the movements up to Grand Prix (S) level some time ago, and the pair achieved placings up to this level. His last competition appearance dates back more than five years, as the focus of the Gießelmann family operation has increasingly shifted toward younger horses. Therefore, the time has come for Bugatti to accompany a new rider in the future as a schoolmaster. His level-headedness in daily stable handling, both in calm surroundings and in busy environments, further highlights his suitability in a very positive way.
